Palazzo di Atlante | Museo furioso della Rocca Ariostesca
1 castle, more than 50 artists involved. An explosive, multimedia, sound and unique scenographic work.
After a long restoration, the Palazzo di Atlante – Furioso Museum of the Rocca Ariostesca, a symbolic monument of Castelnuovo di Garfagnana where Ludovico Ariosto stayed between 1522 and 1525, was inaugurated yesterday.
Thanks to the visionary work of the Kokoschka Revival collective led by director Ana Shametaj, it will be possible to enter the bell tower to live an immersive experience and be transported into the Ariosto narration of one of the iconic episodes of Orlando Furioso: Astolfo’s journey to the Moon.
Curator of the sound part is our VINCENZO PARISI who composed the extraordinary music for a quartet of female voices that accompanies the journey. The artist, assisted by Andrea Giomi in the sound design part and supported by the splendid voices of Giulia Zaniboni, Laura Zecchini, Sahbā Khalili Amiri and Clara La Licata, has composed a unique work that will surprise you.
