After the success of the first appointment on the bill, the URBAN OPERA FESTIVAL returns to Bologna on Friday 21 October with the site-specific staging of the opera by VIRGINIA GUASTELLA entitled “L’ombra di un meriggio lontano“.
Written on commission by Cantiere d’Arte of Montepulciano for which she signed music and libretto on her own texts, by Rosselli, Pasolini, Dante and Kafka, it is a work against the war that runs through the life and poetics of Amelia Rosselli, poetess from unique and original item.
The direction is entrusted to Eva Maria Melbye.
In the cast the two extraordinary voices of Maria Eleonora Caminada and Danilo Pastore will be accompanied by AltreVoci ensemble directed by Giuseppe Prete.
