“Where the word is missing, there the music begins; where words stop, man can only sing.” So said the French philosopher Vladimir Jankélévitch during one of his passionate lectures at the Sorbonne.
The eternal dance between words and music has always been the subject of curiosity, investigation and an incessant desire for dialogue.

On Friday 28 January in the historic hall of the San Fedele Auditorium, the third season of the Syntax Ensemble entitled BREAKING WORDS AND MUSIC kicks off, which this year pays tribute to the indissoluble relationship that exists between word and music.
Four extraordinary evenings that will accompany us, through world premiere and published pieces, on an unforgettable journey.
