Sunday 31th July the Cantiere Internazionale dell’Arte of Montepulciano is going to end and for the occasion ORAZIO SCIORTINO will present the world premiere of “Promenades: 7 passeggiate immaginarie per sopravvivere ad una quarantena”.
The cycle, written during a covid quarantine, is an imaginative walk in unspecified places of memory, made up of actions that serve to fill a time that never passes.
Some pieces evoke dance movements, others are built on circular rhythmic motifs and can potentially repeat themselves indefinitely in the apathetic passage of time.
To complete the program, pieces by Listz and Bartók.
